Demolition engineering roles

Roles posted directly to the engineers who hold the letters — the people who have been assessed, interviewed and keep their development current.

Published by the Institute · reviewed

Roles are placed through the Institute office. Employers who want to reach members with a vacancy should contact the office; members hear about roles through the Institute's usual channels.

For members

Roles are listed openly, and members can choose to be notified when something matching their grade and region is posted. Your membership record is never shared with an employer without your say-so — applications go direct, and the Institute does not act as an agency or take a placement fee.

For employers

Posting reaches the Institute's membership directly. Three reasons it is a different audience from a general board:

Assessed

Every member has been examined and interviewed. You are not filtering CVs for competence — the Institute already did.

Specific

A small, hard-to-reach discipline. General job boards do not have these people; the Institute has all of them.

Current

Members maintain 12 hours of CPD a year. The register tells you who is active, not who once qualified.

Terms for placing a role are agreed with the office case by case.More for employers →

Starting out?

If you are looking at demolition engineering as a career rather than a next role, the Institute runs Student and Entrant grades, a bursary scheme and a Foundation Degree developed for this discipline. Routes into the profession →
