Cookie notice

What this site stores on your device, and why. The short version: only what is needed to keep you signed in and the site secure.

Published by the Institute · reviewed

One choice, asked once. The only optional cookies on this site are Google Analytics, used to see which pages are read. They are set only if you accept on the banner, and your answer is kept on your device for a year. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations. Change your answer any time with Cookie choices.

What is not set

  • No advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • No cross-site tracking, and no data sold or shared with advertising networks.
  • No third-party embeds that set cookies without being asked for.
  • No analytics cookies unless you accept them.

Turning them off

Analytics: choose Cookie choices and press Decline; nothing from Google loads after that. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookies will prevent you signing in to the members’ area, because they are the mechanism by which the site remembers that you did.

Changes

If the Institute adds embedded video or anything else that sets cookies, this notice will be updated and the banner extended before it goes live. Analytics was added on 17 September 2026.
