The Institute's regional programme takes it out of London and into the places members actually work — hosted by the manufacturers, suppliers and contractors who make up the industry.

Regional meetings are informal by design. A tour of the host’s facility, a technical presentation, and a proper discussion with questions from the floor. They are among the most useful CPD hours in the calendar, and they are where members meet the people they will later ring for advice.
Midlands
A regular programme of regional meetings hosted by manufacturers, suppliers and contractors across the Midlands — plant demonstrations, technical presentations and open discussion of the issues in the trade.

- Finning UK Ltd, Cannock — Caterpillar demolition machines and attachments, and the future of electric plant
- Spillard Safety Systems, Penkridge — live demonstration of the Human Detection System, with attendees in the cab
North West
Meetings across the North West bringing members together with the businesses that supply the industry, and with the engineers solving its harder problems.

- Worsley Plant Ltd, Cheshire — attachments, hire and repair, with 35 members and guests attending
- Andun Engineering — the need for temporary works, and when it applies
Hosting a meeting. Regional meetings are held at members’ premises and at the businesses that supply the industry. If your organisation would like to host one, the Institute would like to hear from you.
