On Thursday 25th April 2024, 35 guests attended the NW Regional meeting held at Worsley Plant Ltd in Cheshire.
The event commenced with a tour of the Worsley premises.
After Vernon Watson FIDE, IDE President, opened the meeting, Sean Heron, Managing Director and Adrian Nixon of Worsley offered an explanation of the services and products they provide to the Demolition industry. They have a wide variety of attachments for sale or hire from leading manufacturers and also offer a repair service.
Joshua Martin from Andun Engineering offered an interesting presentation on the need for temporary works and when needed.
Danny Mackinlay from PP O’Connor shared his presentation on a very difficult job at Deansgate in Manchester and the various challenges they faced and how they overcame them during the Demolition process.
Overall the afternoon was a great success and the IDE would like to thank Worsley Plant Ltd for hosting this event and to all the speakers and attendees who offered their support.
