From Demolition to Deconstruction:

How the construction industry can reduce carbon emissions through deconstruction and reuse

To maximise finite resources and reduce carbon emissions the construction sector has to make reuse work, at scale. Delve into insightful discussions and workshops addressing the hurdles and untapped opportunities in reusing building products and materials from the point of view of demolition and deconstruction. We will also hear from those doing reuse now, with presentations, case studies, and Q&A.

This event is part of ASBP’s Reuse Now Campaign, and the DISRUPT 2 project, which is working with the Institute of Demolition Engineers to further explore the innovative reuse of structural steel in construction and enable more steel to be reclaimed and reused from refurbishment and demolition projects.
