The first step on the road to Full Membership is election and admission to the basic grade. The Rules of the Institute set out the criteria for election and admission to this grade.
The applicant must be sponsored by a Full Member or Fellow who certifies that they recommend him or her to be a fit and proper person for membership of the Institute and that the criteria for membership are satisfied.
The Entrant grade is basic and confers no entitlement to accreditation to or by the Institute.
An Entrant is not entitled to place membership initials after his or her name or use the Institute’s logo in any way.
The goal of the Entrant is success in the Institute’s examinations and election to Associate grade.

This is not a corporate membership, it is for individual Demolition Engineering professionals, as such you are responsible for your application and the information provided within it. Please ensure the Full IDE Member Sponsor has agreed to sponsor you and has signed the application form prior to it being returned to the National Secretary.
Any discussions relating to your application will be between the National Secretary, The Membership Committee and you – the applicant, not third parties.
