Tuesday 
30 January 2024 saw the latest IDE Midlands Regional Meeting held in the meeting room at Spillard Safety Systems in Penkridge.
The IDE members and guests were greeted by the President Vernon Watson FIDE and the Vice President Adrian McLean FIDE before Adrian welcomed everyone to the meeting and led a discussion with questions from the room on various topics within the industry. This led to a good discussion.
Spillard Safety Systems then gave a presentation, and a live demonstration of their market leading “Human Detection System” for machines. The presentation showed the details of the product, and many questions arose from the floor. The questions were all answered during the live presentation which gave attendees the opportunity to sit in the cab of the machine and see the detection system in operation.
