Duncan Rudall 26.02.16With the 40th Anniversary celebrations just over a month away preparations are now in full swing to ensure that all guests to the Science Museum on the 1st July will have an enjoyable and memorable evening.  As part of the preparations for this occasion, current IDE President Duncan Rudall, FIDE took part in an interview to discuss the IDE and what the future holds – the content of which you can view below.  In addition, Council Member, Michael Ulyatt has been very busy preparing the Anniversary edition of the Demolition Engineer magazine to be published rather appropriately on 1st July 2016.

There is no doubt that exciting times are ahead for the IDE with many initiatives starting to take shape for the Institute that can only benefit the  industry.  With a new and improved office hub in Rochester, Kent things can only move in a positive direction for our members and affiliates.

We have a full calendar of events planned for the rest of the year and beyond so if you haven’t done so already, please check the events page on our website.  Do let us know if you wish to host a regional meeting in your area as we are always on the look out for new locations and fresh ideas for meetings.  Remember, if we don’t see you on 1st July we hope to see you at the ever-popular Autumn Seminar in September – until then have a great Summer, it’s forecast to be a hot one!
