LISTON GROUP BECOME ONE OF THE FIRST UK CUSTOMERS OF THE LEHNHOFF QUICKCOUPLER SYSTEM AND ADD ROTAR KIT TO THEIR RANGE

Andrew Purse, Worsley Plant’s Business Development Manager, recently invited Tony McLean, Owner at Liston Group to join him on a trip overseas to visit two of Worsley Groups key suppliers, Rotar and Lehnhoff.   As a key customer Andrew was keen to show the two factories to Tony so that he could see the quality and precision of how the products are produced and get more of a feel for the machinery.

Established over ten years ago, Liston works within the construction industry and has a strong reputation for delivery and wealth of industry experience. They are recognised as one of the region’s leading construction & demolition specialists, working on key projects across the UK.

Tony has recently bought two Rotar grabs from Andrew – both RG28 Grabs.  More importantly, Liston Group have also become one of the first UK customers to invest in the Lehnhoff Fully Automatic Quickcoupler System.  They have purchased two Lehnhoff systems and buckets, which are currently fitted to two new Volvo E250 excavators.

The visit to the Rotar factory in the Netherlands took in the Rotar Range.  With its striking red livery, the range has an excellent reputation for power, durability and reliability across Europe. It includes scrap shears, sorting/demolition grabs, pulverisers  and steel shears amongst other products.  Rotar products are used for recycling, demolition, road building, earthmoving and various other industrial applications.

They also visited the Lehnhoff factory in Germany.  The newest of Worsley Plant’s suppliers Lehnhoff who, established since 1960, offer trend-setting products not only for the construction and road building industries, but also for special sectors like demolition and recycling, gardening and landscaping, as well as quarry and gravel works.

Their Variolock range of Fully Automatic Quickcoupler Systems are ideal for hydraulic excavators.  They turn your excavator into an all-round specialist allowing easy and frequent changes of tools.  Each attachment is ready for safe use in a matter of seconds – effortless, safe and fast, at the touch of a button from the comfort of the operator’s cab.

The trip at the end of 2014 was a great success from both sides, as already Liston have started off the new year by adding a third Lehnhoff system and bucket, for their third new Volvo EC250.  In addition, they have bought a Rotar RSS 20 scrap shear!  This isn’t the end of the story, as they are now trialling some other Rotar products, as well as considering adding yet more Lehnhoff systems to their range.  Watch this space!
